A celebration of European Arts and Culture for Kids! Europe comes to Washington with an arts festival starring the most talented European children’s entertainers in more than 150 FREE performances all around the city. Mimes, storytellers, a virtual orchestra, bubble blowers, and puppeteers are just a few of the exciting acts scheduled to appear during almost four weeks of wonderful artistic adventures – no passport required!

Sweden is presenting “Orjan – the Eagle Afraid of Heights” by Teater Pero, a play based on a book by Lars Klinting, which has been acclaimed by Swedish press as “…one of the greatest dramatizations the theatre of children has ever seen”. The play is for children from age 4. Locations and times: October 28th at 9:30 am - THEARC (schools only) October 28th at 6:00 pm - Kennedy Center Millenium Stage (public performance) October 29th at 10:00 am - La Maison Francaise (shools only)
